Where did the Meal Topper craze begin?
"Miss Porkchop's Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother's people created their meal topper almost 40 years ago in the Colorado high country.
"Launching Granny's original meal topper to a wider audience came to me like a fever dream. After years of global travel building Pork Chop Media Group, I needed a change. So, there I was at 3am. It could have been Paris, Milan or maybe Manitowoc. It'd been a long tour of press junkets and I was watching foody shows. In that moment of exhaustion, I knew it was time for me to leverage my fame."
Laying there on that canape,' her nose-mouth started twitching. The recipes began to create themselves, so she called in her sleepy-time team from their various rooms. The GP-made espressos (No espresso for Pedro) and they got busy.
"You may think of me as a media mogul, or global fashion icon, but I grew up with humble surroundings, learning to cook from my Great, Great Granny PorkChop Coriander." This was long before she became Emcee MPC, or as SPIN MAGAZINE dubbed her, "The Sniffy Miss."
"Thanks to my team for helping get this off the ground. A special shout out to Eddie Money, Jasper Bundletanninton and my Rabbit homies. Stay Quispy and always eat good food." —MPC
I couldn't do what I do without my team!
Thanks all, you make the world go 'round! -MPC

People Magazine's hit job on Granny Porkchop back in the eighties left an enduring mark on the family legacy and impacted collaborations and endorsement deals for years. As the family press agent said at the time "Comparing her to a potato was neither funny, nor relevant. Yes, some weight had been gained. Yes, she likes Potatoes hot or cold." As we approach the anniversary of this event, the current MPC feels no shame, "Anyone can be a model, and we celebrate all body types. Twenty-two generations ago, not all were whispy waifs, not even Granny 6. It's the curse of the litter's epinegenics."
One of the greats! PRINCESS has been following me around for years, documenting my rise in both still and moving film. We've had quite a ride together. One time she followed me into a Montreal' hotel after a particularly spicy photo shoot with John Hamm, and the papparazi was all over the lobby. John, in his usual style, picked me up and ran for the elevators, but the mob was thick. Meanwhile, Princess had found a backdoor through the kitchen and yelled for us to follow. Two hours later, and with more than a little Absinthe with the great Anthony Bourdain, we drifted back to our room, intoxicated by John's stories, and still revelling in Princess's heroism.
